Catalina Express, the only year round boat service to Catalina Island, offers the convenience of up to 30 round trip daily departures from Long Beach, San Pedro and Dana Point to the cities of Avalon and Two Harbors. The flexible schedules allow passengers a full day of travel choices from early morning departures to late night returns.

Most boat trips are only about an hour!

Catalina Express’ prices, schedules and terms are subject to change without notice in conformance with California Public Utilities Commission Regulations. Round trip fares include $4.00 island wharfage fare per person. Fares are subject to a temporary fuel and/or security surcharge. One- way tickets are available. Holiday and holiday weekend schedules may vary, call for information. Catalina Express accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets or cancellations due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.

On May 16, 2008, Catalina Express will implement an 8% fuel surcharge, increasing its fares due to the significant impact of high fuel costs.

All schedules, fares and taxes are subject to change in accordance with the California Public Utilities Commission, including a fuel surcharge. Round trip fares include $4.00 Island wharfage fee.

Reservations

Advance reservations are highly recommended as our departure times often sell out. Tickets may be purchased the day of departure, based on availability.

Purchasing Tickets

• Passengers with advance reservations will be given a reservation number. Please present this number to the agent at the ticket window.
  
• Passengers can pay for their tickets in the forms of cash, Traveler’s Checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express with a valid photo ID that matches the name on the credit card.
  
• Passengers without advance reservations may purchase tickets on the day of departure, subject to availability.
