The spooky season is upon us, but instead of being scared how about a little laughter! With parades of creative costumes, a celebration of Dia de Los Muertos and a little magic thrown in for good measure, this will be a Halloween weekend to be remembered.
Bats in the Belfry – October 29, 2021
Enjoy a live magic performance by master magician, Jonathan Levit, a special magical performance and Q&A with “Thing” (Christopher Hart) from the Addams Family movies and a screening of The Addams Family movie (1991) at the Iconic Catalina Casino.
Annual Halloween Parade – October 31, 2021
Join the ghouls, ghosts, mermaids and firefighters in the Avalon Halloween Parade down Crescent Ave. Parade will include decorated golf carts!
Día de los Muertos Family Festival – November 1, 2021
Join us for a unique celebration at the museum with a lively evening of events highlighting the traditional Mexican cultural celebration of Día de los Muertos. This Avalon tradition brings together Mexican cultural elements, dancing, music and other activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Holiday Open House at Mt. Ada – December 1, 2021
Mark your calendars for the Holiday Open House at Mt Ada. Celebrate the holiday season and raise funds to support local nonprofits, including Avalon Schools. Live music will be performed by the Bierman Brothers and Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be in attendance. There will be multiple raffles and silent auction items.
