Ready, set, go! Take part in Catalina Island’s marathon and walking events to help raise money for a cause or to check these runs off your cardio bucket list for 2023.

Triathlon, Duathlon & 5K

Swim it. Bike it. Run it. Tri it! Experience Catalina Island in a different way with the end of the season triathlon on Saturday, October 28. Challenge yourself with a half-mile swim in Avalon Bay, three loops on a bike around Mt. Ada, and a tough 5k run around Hogsback trail and down by the Chimes Tower straight to the finish line in downtown Avalon.

Not ready to swim in the water? Sign up for the duathlon and indulge in the adrenaline of biking around Mt. Ada then running the 5k course. If you are interested in participating at a more leisurely pace, then all are welcome to run or walk on the 5k course. Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk

Walk for a cause to raise money, awareness and show support to those battling breast cancer. Catalina Island is joining the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk as a team on Sunday, October 29. Beginning at the Wrigley Stage, the community will walk approximately 1.5 miles on the island at 1:30pm to show their support in joining the Los Angeles event. And don’t forget to wear pink!

Half Marathon & 10K

Catalina Island is calling people of all ages to join in the Half Marathon, 10K, Kids Run or Triple Crown Challenge on November 11. Run through Catalina Island to experience immaculate views on this challenging activity.
