Cancellation Policy

Should the group need to cancel the entire reservation, the deposit is refundable with 30 days’ notice prior to departure. If the entire reservation is cancelled less than 10 days prior to departure, the group will forfeit 50% of the contracted amount.

Who's in Charge?

Each group will assign a Group Leader to handle communication and correspondence between the group and the Catalina Express Group Sales Representative. The Group Leader will be responsible for providing a manifest and picking up the group tickets for the amount of passengers actually traveling at the time of check‐in.

Keep in Touch

Group Leaders can change the amount of passengers any time prior to the departure date. You can add group members (based on space availability) or lower the passenger count. A final count is required by 3 pm the day prior to travel (by Friday for Saturday, Sunday and Monday travel).

What is a Manifest?

A manifest is a list of names, first and last, of everyone traveling in your group. Identify the age of those under 12 years old. Manifest must be brought to the ticket window at the time of check-in.

Don’t Miss the Boat

Be sure the group arrives at least one hour prior to departure. Reservations are subject to cancellation 15 minutes prior to departure and standby passengers may be accepted.

What to Bring?

Lighter is better. The baggage guidelines are two pieces of baggage no larger than 23”x23”x37” weighing no more than 50lbs and one carry-on no larger than 12”x12”x24”. Catalina is very casual, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light jacket for the evening. Additional luggage guidelines for scuba diving, bikes and camping are available.
