Catalina Express operates its ticketing and docking from the offices of Dana Wharf Sportfishing in beautiful Dana Point Harbor. This port is located just off the 5 Freeway and is convenient for travelers coming from San Diego or Orange County.
Dana Point Harbor has two marinas inside a one-and-a-half mile jetty and offers plenty of shopping, more than 20 restaurants and a hotel. There’s also a park with picnic shelters, barbecues and wide open green belts.
Please arrive 60 minutes prior to your departure to allow plenty of time to check in and receive directions for parking.

The ticket window opens one hour prior to the first sailing and closes after the last scheduled departure of the day.
Parking
For reservations made prior to August 6:
If passengers purchased parking with Catalina Express, park briefly in the short-term lot to check in with Catalina Express and receive their parking pass. The agent will direct the passenger to the parking structure.
For reservations made on or after August 6:
Passengers may pre-pay to reserve and guarantee their on-site parking or purchase parking at the structure upon arrival, subject to availability. For pre-paid parking, please click on the “Book Parking” button below. Pre-pay Parking is $24 plus service fees per day. Parking on day of travel is $24 per day and subject to availability.
When you arrive on your day of travel, check in at the Dana Point Parking structure to receive an approved Catalina Express placard to display on your car’s dash and proceed to park on the 3rd level of the structure.
Catalina Express no longer sells parking for the Dana Point parking structure. LAZ Parking operates the Dana Point parking structure. If your departure or return date or time changes, on-site LAZ assistance may be reached at 714.224.7152.
